Freedom is mother evil

I fancy a bulldog. It could lead to a loving marriage … I can’t wait to make some hybrids hmm believe you me!

Today freedom clearly clashes with mother- nature and disconnects from the norms. Almost everyone holds tight to it, well to obviously justify their actions. Every now and then I bump into – I swear some crazy individuals who fiercely and with so much passion discuss freedom, rights, reforms and the list goes on and on – as if they got some hidden chains around their necks. What scares me the most is those radical ones who argue how the notion of sin is variable and might not be as bad as we all think because it depends. In their little heads, sin is more of making a choice which one person should be responsible of , and feel free to live with for the rest of their lives …because the world is no longer enslaved and we are all free.

But  hey what about others? Its not like we live in individual caves anymore?!

I swear, its aint saggy yet!

Frankly, for the first time in my life I’m feeling uncomfortable with the Continue reading…

WHY I DO IT DIRTY

For your record this post was submitted and published – Nov 19th pm time , on thinkup.ae as a contribution piece .. now you can read!

When it comes down to writing I do really suck at it. I don’t claim to be a Harper Lee or J Rowling, but I do have this magical stick that is so good at pressing people’s buttons, and that is exactly why I’ve decided to blog. I do it in a very authentic subtle way and blog my heart out to crack this spark and form a connection with everything and everyone Arab from all classes, faiths and colors.

I have strong thoughts and opinions about things that matter to others and me. Sometimes I wish if I have the ability to shut up and drive. I sincerely find it so difficult to keep my thoughts locked. How can anyone promote mind slavery? Triggering, pushing, disturbing or making someone happy through my lines is better than adding nothing on the table. I don’t blog for the sake of blogging, I blog to minimize the gap, the current gap in the Emarati or Arab blogging world.

Unfortunately, majority of people in the Arab region don’t Continue reading…

ZAKAT WON’T GET YOU TO HEAVEN

Surprise  ….  SURPRISE?

The world is not at its greatest shape! Oh no trust me, its not and is it really a surprise? In some parts, the world is barely breathing. Pollution? Thank you very much.  In other parts its covered with tears and blood, who said war is beautiful? The world’s map is no longer the same. Japan doesn’t look the same, and in 20, 50 or 100 years Holland might say hasta la vista, i.e. vanish for good. So technically it might be your last chance to ever try their famous drugged and LEGAL takeaways. Oh stop, wait a minute, don’t, because you’ll never make it to rehab. You have so much debts and your name is not Lindsay Lohan so receiving a free admission is more or less mission impossible!

Of course its not a surprise, the world is not at its greatest shape. There is so much love for Saint Gaga and very little love for dying Somalia.  Have I just offended the little monsters?  I really don’t give a shsh. Ironically, with all the available junk, the world is starving and turning pale out of thirst and hunger. What a humiliating fact!  Famine is ripping off the Continue reading…

To Daddy!

Daddy,

My blog isn’t supposed to be a diary type of thing, but for you I’ll break the code its father’s day!

I love you can’t tell how much I care for you.  Thank you for the great memories and days to come.. for all the sacrifices, for loving Mum and your family.  Do you remember when I was in grade one? I miss those morning and afternoon rides. I miss our winter desert trips to Hatta and picnics in Safa Park.

You’ve taught me how to dream, work hard and keep my head up because I was born not less than a winner. Your legacy, well-known contributions to Dubai, respect for people and passion about life have inspired me to make something out of my life. So far I’m super tiny compared to you, but I’ve promised myself to build on your legacy.

Dad you’re not an internet person and you’ll probably never read this note…  I love you.

Your little old daughter,

X

Saudi Women, What car are you getting?

Dear Saudi Women,

Jump behind the wheel, fasten your seatbelt and free your spirit. Hats off.

Sincerely,

Motive!

Woman is capable of more than just giving birth and breastfeeding for the rest of her life. She is a smart creature who has been adding to humanity more than troops of men combined. What I fail to understand is why some men get so personal when they see women stepping up and demanding for equal opportunities?

It surprises me how backward minds still exist in our Middle Eastern culture and of course some parts of Far East Asia.  No matter what degrees some men hold or thoughts they preach many are still captive to hideous traditions, and consider women as tables, chairs nothing but commodities.  According to my calendar its May 25 2011, so such men better get mops and clear the dust out of their brains.

We might be great cooks but we, women, aren’t meant to be just cooks, cleaners okay we can deal with that, and yes we can obviously make great dads at difficult times. But in reality woman’s role doesn’t only revolve around cooking, cleaning or making babies. Her existence is crucial and her role is universal.

Have they – men of the Continue reading…
