Freedom is mother evil

I fancy a bulldog. It could lead to a loving marriage … I can’t wait to make some hybrids hmm believe you me!
Today freedom clearly clashes with mother- nature and disconnects from the norms. Almost everyone holds tight to it, well to obviously justify their actions. Every now and then I bump into – I swear some crazy individuals who fiercely and with so much passion discuss freedom, rights, reforms and the list goes on and on – as if they got some hidden chains around their necks. What scares me the most is those radical ones who argue how the notion of sin is variable and might not be as bad as we all think because it depends. In their little heads, sin is more of making a choice which one person should be responsible of , and feel free to live with for the rest of their lives …because the world is no longer enslaved and we are all free.
But hey what about others? Its not like we live in individual caves anymore?!
Frankly, for the first time in my life I’m feeling uncomfortable with the whole I’m free preaches and songs. It seems that everyone on planet – except for our beloved 4 /6 legged creatures – has an opinion, or is keen to make a statement or whatever move because it feels so damn reassuring, it reinforces their existence and the fact that they are more than just some ID cards with of course hideous photos. Oh boy, I’m scared of how our the world is becoming a freer place. Yes, freedom scares me because its becoming a passing ticket for the ignorant and insane. No joke, I’m really starting to wonder whether human flesh will be commercially traded to revive our ill world economy. Well I bet a day will come which you and I will witness when some crazy person somewhere will feel so motivated to legalize skin for the sake of dollars and lots of it.
There is a popular and growing misconception about freedom. I don’t want to put any Sartre act here and turn this blog into a theoretical one, but I have felt from the bottom oh my heart the need to hit the brakes and take some good time to look at what is going on around me and most importantly draw clearer finishing lines for freedom. Someone should raise the red flag, and I guess it will be me for now. True, I might have published my share of freedom of speech through lines that many disagreed with, you know lines that could possibly offended you, her or him. But I believe that freedom should not detach itself from logic and nature, because once it does our freedom of speech and freedom of act might cause more harm than any good.
The growing annual revenues “am talking billions of US dollars” of the pornography market is not a good reason to legalize explicit content in the west side of the world. Qat should not be used in Yemeni gov. offices because some higher authorities fancy being high behind desks from am to pm. Poverty should no longer be taken as an excuse to overlook underage labors in South East Asia. President Barack Obama should not have made whatever comments he made about homosexuality to serve his own political agenda, and of course grandma Madge completely got human nature wrong when she flashed her top right asset at Istanbul’s recent concert!
Funny enough Bob Dylan said “a hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom”. People should be held responsible for their actions regardless of where they come from, what they pray for or what language they speak. We share one world and live in groups, so violating others in the name of freedom is insanity that can’t continue. I’m sick of people arguing about common sense, we all know what is common sense and what is acceptable and what is not. Madge flashing her saggy right xxxxx is no message, its more of stare at it and raise my pay idiots!
How much free is free and what free is radical? Before I go, let’s get things straight, I’m marrying no bulldog!

Yess, I agree with you.
Very well written as usual, like i said you should start writing in one of those magazines made for expats in UAE it would interest them.
200 years ago freedom was basically freeing slaves, today its meaning changed drastically to freedom of who to sleep with, freedom to insult (freedom of speech), freedom of what to wear, freedom for adam and steve..etc
I have nothing against America but like i always tell my American friends that its nice to be free but when you over do it like giving gays and lesbians rights your actually taking that freedom for granted.
Everything should be done with limits, its not right to ban people from everything, a person should choose between right and wrong but it should be done with limits.
In my opinion i think there are a group of certain individuals who want global domination & in order to do that they start giving people those pathetic rights to do whatever they want to do, and misuse freedom for their own advantage to lead people astray from the righteous path.
Another good example: look at what the “free capitalist market” done to the world, a group of 50-100 CEO’s are responsible for screwing up the whole global market and dipping the world into what could be the biggest depression in this history of man kind.
very well written
PS.
The picture of that 60 year old 2 dollar call girl gave me the creeps
As much as we sound crazy, but I do agree with you, there is this evil materialistic agenda which is being mastered and managed by powerful individuals who are screwing the world for their one common interest, domination
The whole -free- perception is altered; hence, the call for intervention is absolutely needed. I feel the need for people to read this and think before racing their tongues to say the word “free”!

The article is well written and makes sense in certain cultures like here. I think in any country where so many nationalities try to live in harmony, too much freedom leads to misunderstanding and miscommunication of morals and values.
On the other hand, I have been raised in the Netherlands, a country where freedom is the norm. In my country all the sins are legalised; prostitution, abortion, drugs, same sex marriage and it really taught me to respect people that are different, not to see colour, race or religion. In our country freedom also ensured that these sins are not attractive, as soon as something becomes the norm, you don’t desire it anymore. Which I think every Dutch National agrees with me, we are very normal and learnt to respect others and not too judge and that is what freedom means to me.
I know here this is not possible due to the different backgrounds of so many people, so I know if I want to enjoy freedom I will do it at home and here I adjust to what the majority feels comfortable with, even it means restricted freedom. Because that is something you also get used too.
I don’t mind people performing common sense, freedom which humanity relates to, etc .. But stuff that are morally wrong cannot be negotiated, we people cannot continue justifying the unacceptable. Thanks
I agree, but then you enter into a whole new discussion about what is morally wrong. In this culture for example gay marriage is morally wrong but in Western culture marrying 4 wives is morally wrong. So who is right and who can judge what is morally wrong? Every culture has their own morals, beliefs and subsequent freedoms. I think it always falls back one the same principle: “When in Rome, do as the Romans do” but remember “Rome wasnt built in a day.”

Very nice words , I totally agree ,, for us as Muslims we should only be free under what ALLAH accepts, parents should teach this to their kids ,moreover, our government should help us in this!!
Very clever. There are limits to everything and unlimited freedom will just lead to anarchy. So limits, limits, limits!! Well written.
exactly, limits should be set or else its goodbye world!
Homosexuality is biological. I have Emirati gay friends who are suffering and are sometimes close to suicide because their mere existence is illegal. You think someone voluntarily chose this? But what can i say, history repeats itself. It’ll take a us, say, 500 years to actually use our brains.
