Before it gets really hot, I feel the need to make two points very clear. First, as a Muslim and Arab I do not support any sort of attacks against unarmed civilians regardless of their faith, skin color and nationality (unless its a legal self-defense situation e.g. war ). And second, I’m disgusted from the very well organized bashing strategy against Muslims and Arabs throughout our very dear western media channels. I mean seriously, when will O’Reilly and the rest of the gang grow up and let go? As I look at it, it seems to me the western media and their hardcore commentators have one mission: bash anything, everything and everyone Arab and Muslim. For them , Arabs and Muslims will never be good enough. No matter what we accomplish or try to do, we will always be those who got lucky because of their oil and 123.
Have you not watched the Dictator movie by the famous Baron Cohen, who by the way happens to be Jewish? The Dictator movie (which clearly depicts an Arab and Muslim character) is a typical Hollywood propaganda which was smartly released at the peak of the Arab Spring. Producing movies like the Dictator doesn’t require much talent. You’ll know what I mean once you watch it! The movie shows Arabs as filthy rich barbarians, sex addicts, urine drinkers and goat-lovers. I have to say the urine consumption thing takes the misconception to a whole new level. Can you imagine generations of westerns being exposed to such fabricated and dirty content during their full life cycle? Pretty sad. Anyways let’s move on and turn the table for a moment and imagine Cohen playing a role of a fanatic Jewish settler while of course maintaining the same spirit of the Dictator film. Hmm exactly he wouldn’t dare and allow me to confirm I bet on it.
I believe the western world needs to comprehend with an open mind that such highly promoted false information (which is obviously packaged as free speech) will never demolish the increasing gap between the west and the east. As a matter of fact it increases it badly, want some evidence? Gaze at the current affairs. The recent anti-American dilemma across the Middle East is a clear result of one thing, accumulated hate. I’m talking about a severe hate here that is similar to maybe a horrible 3rd degree tumor which by the way has been growing for years and years. This growing tumor is becoming bigger and bigger because A. its not getting the right treatment, and B. its not being properly addressed.
People like Terry Jones and Nakoula Basseley are abusing their rights to express by enticing hatred and feeling of unjust among 2.6 billion Muslims. Can you imagine how serious it is to physiologically bully 2.6 billon people over and over? Funny thing the oppressor keeps waving the free speech flag and encourages the weak minds to carry on the exact hatful steps. If we analyze objectively most of produced content from the western world, anybody with a rightful mind would say yeah Muslims, Arabs and easterns have been subjected to unfair and biased media. Its no brainer!
But here is the thing, I’ve read few comments here and there concerning westerns’ views about the recent released amateur film and same have triggered me to publish whatever you’re reading now. Well I know for sure that the views I read don’t represent the entire western nation, but I can comfortably say many reflect the majority. A very good % of all comments criticized Muslims for lacking sense of humor because we usually don’t condemn religions or religious figures in any of our produced content. And by the way, we don’t find drinking urine or fantasizing goats funny and we certainly don’t find mocking Jesus in the middle of Times Square appropriate.
The notion of religion might not be a big deal in western societies but it is in Arabia and other eastern cultures. Just to confirm, I’m not saying Arabs whether Muslims or Christians are saints, absolutely not. As a matter of fact many of us have shortfalls and so. But the major difference between us and the western world is one thing, our value-system. Our value-system (which is by the way a core part of our DNA) forbids mocking others for their religious beliefs and behaviors. When Terry Jones says I’m not insulting Muslims, I’m only condemning Islam, I think the old man got his calculation wrong.
In Eastern cultures faith or religion is not a complimentary component. I’m afraid to break the news to America’s most hateful preacher TJ that religion regulates our living. You mock Jesus pbuh in the Philippines, you might get jailed. You bad mouth Hinduism in India, you’ll probably won’t make it home and if you mock Mohammed pbuh things might get really on fire. I’m not sure if you recall when Lebanon banned not long time ago Lady Gaga’s Born this way album, specifically following her famous Jesus video. Such a ban reflects the value- system of Lebanon and its Christian community. If you believe that the ban was to restrict freedom of expression, mate you’re wrong. The ban was simply put forward to protect what is considered as sacred to others. I’m not sure if westerns will ever comprehend such a principle, I hope they do because many including corporates and governments protect the sanctity of the holocaust.
I believe like any other practice, free speech has to be regulated or else bullying would have been endorsed as a way to express. Google’s management has refused to pull out Nakoula’s amateur garbage from the internet because it clashes with its principles and work ethics. So in a very simple language the western world shouldn’t expect 2.6 billion Muslims to embrace content that breaks the core of their DNA. I guess I can borrow Hilary Clinton’s verbal expression, was it senseless?
You know triggering feelings of anger among a population of 2.6 BILLION by burning the Quran and promoting a low quality film is not exactly a party. I’m not sure how Terry Jones got the title “Pastor” because the old man is certainly a security threat!

You have to realize on thing to get the full picture, there is currently a war under going against islam & muslims around the world. It is crystal clear. Firstly, its the American media (Cable TV) that everyone has access to today, from the average plumber joe house in the US, to the mansions of Jumairah, to the caves of Afghanistan. It is the biggest weapon the west is using. Furthermore, look at the movies in Hollywood, before it used to target American indians, then nazis, then communist, and today Arabs and muslims.
Today look at all major conflicts in the world, you will see western governments killing muslims everywhere, 1M in Iraq under the american invasion, Palestine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Burma, India (Kashmire), Somalia, chechniya…etc
Those governments are secular governments and not only do not have respect to Prophet Mohammed PBUH but also Jesus PBUP. I myself consider myself more christian than most i know, because they say Jesus christ i say Jesus PBUH upon respect to him. The Qoran has stated jesus 35 times, and prophet mohammed 5 times, 4 times as Ahmed and one time as mohammed (PBUH). Note Jesus PBUH is stated 700 percent more!! this just proves to you the tolerance we have for other religions.
The west/jews want global domination hence, they target Islam because its the easiest religion to follow & they cannot get global domination without it. Thats why you see them install puppet regimes of which target muslims too. The west knows of the the Islamic goals, i will quote Donald Rumsfeld (secretary of defense) during 2006 on the invasion of iraq he stated “the mujahideen in Iraq are fighting for an islamic state and want to claim back all the muslim territories that vast from iraq till spain till south east asia. Bush also stated that “they want a khalifait” system we know this because they told us this. So this is proof the west knows what the Muslims wants and what do they do in return?

The west does not want freedom of speech, if they wanted it they would not of have killed an American that was preaching over youtube through a drone strike (sh anwar al awlaki) nor wouldnt it have put one muslims scholar behind the bar for 29 years for preaching normal non violent things.
Whats happening now in the west is exactly what happened to prophet mohammed PBUP in the beginning he used to preach in mecca and when he was getting influential he got kicked out by the people and went to madina. This is whats happening now to muslims in america.
Julian assange is another example, every single day the US are figuring ways into extraditing him to the US for leaking videos of the atrocities of the American army in Iraq.
The west as governments will never accept Islam or muslims.
if the french government can ban the publishing of the topless photos of the duchess of cambridge in less than a day it can ban publishing those cartoons against the prophet which cost france closing 20 embassies and school in different countries.

Note: i have nothing against christians jews, or westerners but as long as my brothers are being killed all over the world and my prophet disrespected we will never stop the struggle.
the west needs to know one thing there is no justification for the death of 1M iraqis over the death of 1 american in new york or washington. there isnt any hate by resentment

Amazing post. Just…amazing. I have to admit, the first few days after this debacle, there was nothing but angry buzz in my head and around me, but you put forward the argument so logically and calmly- like I said, I hope there are more people like you who see clearly as you do.
Perfectly written! we place high importance on our values to mock everyone else and let them do the same to us. Their gunning for us very badly. We shall fight back, smarter hopefully.
The westren media might convey stuff that might hurt us, but if you take a thorough, harsh look at us (look at it objectively) You’ll realize that most of the stuff they’re saying are in fact true. We tend to recieve criticism as hateful accusations.
