I die for the uae to live

In the memory of an unarmed warrior.. prophetic spirit and devoted nationalist. In the memory of a contender..  peacemaker and a nature protector.  In the memory of an eternal stream of wisdom.. immortal human being. In the memory of a heavy weight legacy.. champion and everything good possible. In the memory of my father, the father of the nation, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. I thank him for today, yesterday and everyday. I thank him for being around in every corner, every street, school, hospital and home. I thank him for December 2nd and memories to come!

Zayed’s physical departure still aches every palm, raindrop.. It aches the hearts of the heavens and the worlds. Emaraties refuse to goodbye Zayed.  I refuse. Goodbye Zayed is impossible, how is it possible when everybody sees him in Khalifa?

Today we are living Sheikh Khalifa’s success stories. If I pause for a minute and gaze at neighboring countries, every inch of me realizes how blessed I am to be identified as nothing but an Emarati. Being an Emarati doesn’t mean loads of  profit free cash, bling bling and mansions. It means being sincerely looked after in every way possible.

The UAE’s horizontal leadership spirit provides the nation with trust and security. And thats exactly why I will revolt against any intrusive whispers that will risk my kids’ security and legacy. They say unconditional love is the hardest to explain. Its not easy to explain how it feels especially to those from other nations who only experienced conditional.. contractual .. military love or sometimes no love.

Join the celebrations today and you’ll know why I’ll die for the UAE to live!
